Joshua received his MS and Ed.S in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Harding University in Searcy, AR. During graduate work, Joshua completed an internship as a research assistant to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), studying the effects of trauma on Veterans seeking higher education. Joshua’s career incorporates experience as a school-based mental health therapist, adult psychotherapist as well as clinical research. He specializes in working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety and building self-esteem.
In addition to professional counseling, Joshua served for 8 years in the Arkansas Army National Guard, retiring in 2019. In 2016 Joshua deployed with the 77th CAB to Kuwait and Iraq. Following his return from active duty, he was deployed 4 months later to Texas in support of Hurricane Harvey as the Alpha Battery Commander for the 1-206th FA. Joshua enjoys spending time with his family, wood working or at Lake Norfork.
